Preparing product and beer
keg
NOTE: You can use the product exclusively
with standard 5 litre pressurized beer kegs:
Standard 5 litre pressurized beer kegs are
equipped with a built-in CO
2
dispenser
at the correct pressure. Without the
CO
2
dispenser in the keg, the product
cannot dispense beer.
Standard 5 litre pressurized beer kegs are
delivered with connecting parts that are
necessary to connect the beer keg [] to the
product. Without these connecting parts, the
product cannot dispense beer.
Assembling the disposable faucet
The disposable faucet is not part of the
delivery. Assembling the disposable faucet
requires parts that are delivered with the
product and parts that are delivered with the
beer keg [] (Fig. B and D):

[2] Extension pipe
Remove the wrapping material from the beer
keg [].
Between the wrapping material and the top
of the beer keg [], there is a plastic case
containing the following connecting parts:
[] Keg adapter
[] Pre-assembled keg connector
[] Short pipe
Pull the short pipe [], if any, out of the keg
connector []. Discard the short pipe (Fig. D).
Push an extension pipe [2] into the keg
connector [] (Fig. D). Position the extension
pipe so that its outlet points downward.
Inserting the keg connector [] into the keg
adapter [] (Fig. E):
Push the handle on the keg adapter []
backwards.
Push the pin on the keg connector []
through the keg adapter [].
Push the handle on the keg adapter [] up.
The disposable faucet is completely assembled.
Connecting a beer keg
NOTES:
If the beer keg [] has been moved recently:
Let the beer rest before connecting the beer
keg to the product.
Once the beer keg [] is opened, do not keep
the beer keg inside the product for more than
5 hours.
Place the beer keg [] in the cooling
container []. Position the beer keg so that
the keg notch [] lines up with the container
notch [] (Fig. F).
Position the assembled disposable faucet
so that the pin on the keg connector [] is
positioned over the bung hole [] and the
extension pipe [2] fits snugly into the container
notch [] (Fig. F).
Push down the keg connector [] so that the
pin on the keg connector pierces through the
bung hole [].
NOTE: A small amount of beer squirts out of
the disposable faucet once the pin pierces the
bung hole.
