Pairing the hands-free set with a car radio
Before you can use the hands-free set, you must pair it with
the car radio.
Select a free FM frequency, in the frequency range from
87.5 to 108.0 MHz, on your car radio. A detailed de-
scription of how to do this is to be found in the operating
instructions for your car radio.
If necessary, save the frequency to a memory space on
your car radio.
Connect the hands-free set to the 12/24V socket of
your car. This is usually the cigarette lighter (vehicle
socket) on the dashboard of your vehicle.
The message “
” appears briefly on the display 1
followed by the input voltage, e.g. “ ”. The power
supply to the hands-free set is established. “ ” then
flashes on the display1.
Select the same frequency on the hands-free set. Press
the
dial 4 for 2 seconds. Once you let go of the
dial 4, the current frequency flashes in the display 1
for up to 3 seconds. Immediately turn the dial4 until
you get to the frequency shown on the car radio.
The display automatically switches back to “ ”.
The hands-free set is connected to your car radio.
