Changing the fuse in the car charger adapter
There is a fuse in the car charger adapter
to protect the
vehicle‘s on-board power supply. If the device no longer
works, check the fuse and replace if necessary.
♦ Open the car charger adapter
by turning the screw
insert (C) carefully anticlockwise with a pair of pliers
and carefully removing it.
♦ Remove the plug tip (B) from the fuse (A) and pull out
the fuse.
♦ Now insert a new type F2AL 250 V fuse into the car
charger adapter
, fit the plug tip (B) onto the slightly
protruding end of the fuse and screw the previously
removed screw insert (C) back in.
DANGER
► Replace the fuse only with another of the same type.
Fuses with a different rating could cause a fire.
NOTE
► If the device still does not work or the fuse blows
again immediately, the device is defective. In this
case, please contact the Service Hotline (see section
"Service").
