Requirements for the set-up location
NOTE!
► When choosing a location for the appliance, en-
sure that the appliance is not subjected to direct
sunlight, vibration, dust, heat, cold and moisture.
► Do not set up the appliance in the vicinity of
heat sources, such as radiators.
► Protect sensitive surfaces before setting up the
product.
♦ Place the appliance on a flat and level surface.
Connecting to a power supply
This device can be operated with batteries or the
mains adapter. For a permanent projection, permanent
display illumination and to use the USB port 3,
the mains adapter1must be connected.
Mains power operation:
♦ Ensure that the On/Off switch for permanent projec-
tion is in the "OFF" position.
♦ Plug the low voltage plug on the mains adapter 0
into the connector socket 3 on the appliance and
connect the mains adapter 0 to an easily accessi-
ble mains plug.
Battery operation:
♦ Open the battery compartment- on the rear of
the appliance by removing the battery compart-
ment cover!.
♦ Insert three AAA batteries into the battery compart-
ment. as indicated.
♦ Close the battery compartment- again.
