Battery change display
If the battery symbol (battery change display  )
appears on the display, the batteries should be
changed as soon as possible (see section Connecting
to a power supply).
Switch on/dim the display lighting
To turn on the display illumination permanently, the
mains adapter 1 must be connected.
Battery operation:
Touch the button to turn on the illumina-
tion and projection for about 5seconds.
Mains power operation:
Touch the button to select high, low, or no
display illumination.
Projection function
This appliance offers you the option to project the
time or the temperature onto a level surface, such as
a wall in a (preferably dark) room. The projection
area can be swivelled 180° from the front to the
back. The maximum projection distance is 4m.
Single projection
♦ Press the button to switch on the
projection and the display illumination for about
5seconds.
