3) Set the cutting length to the desired hair length on the comb attach-
ment 0/q. To do this, press the button on the back of the comb
attachment 0/q and push the comb attachment 0/q up-
wards or downwards (see fig. 3). You can read the cutting lengths
via the markings on the comb attachment 0/q (see fig. 4). Start
with a longer cutting length and reduce this in stages while cutting
the hair.
Note
► Press the button, when you push the comb attachment 0/q
upwards
or downwards (see fig. 5). This makes it easier to release the comb
attachment
0/q from the catch and move it.

4) Start the haircut at the back of neck or sides and cut towards the
middle of the head. Then cut the front part of the hair towards the
middle of the head.
5) Hold the appliance so that the comb attachment
0/q is as flat as
possible against your head. Guide the appliance evenly through
the hair and only in one direction to prevent hair from getting
caught in the shaving head 1.
6) Where possible, cut against the direction of hair growth.
