7) Move the appliance several times through a section of hair to make
sure you cut all of the hairs.
8) Comb the hair well.
9) To achieve a straight cut line for cutting lengths of more than
20 mm, guide the appliance several times through the hair from
different directions.
Thinning your hair
Use the thinning function to reduce the hair volume without changing
the hair length. The cutting blade is partially covered so that the hair is
only partially cut off by the cutting blade.
1) Push the slider for the thinning function
2 upwards to the
position . The thinning function built into the shaving head 1 is
moved upwards (see fig. 6).

2) Hold the appliance so that the comb attachment
0/q or the
shavinghead1 is as upright as possible against your head and
the cutting blade is directed towards your scalp (see fig. 7). Guide
the appliance evenly through the hair, moving it only in one direc-
tion to prevent hair from getting caught in the shaving head
