Disposing of the batteries
Defective or dead batteries must be recycled according to Directive 2006/66/EC.
Do not dispose of the batteries in the domestic waste. Batteries can contain poi-
sons which are damaging to the environment. Therefore, dispose of the batteries
in accordance with applicable statutory regulations.
Consumers are legally obliged to dispose of used batteries at a collection point
in their town/district or at a retail store. This obligation is intended to ensure that
batteries are disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner.
Dispose of batteries only when they are fully discharged.
Troubleshooting
This section contains important information about fault identification and rectifica-
tion.

Observe the following safety information to avoid hazards and property dam-
age:
Repairs to electrical appliances should only be carried out by specialists
trained by the manufacturer. Improper repairs can cause considerable risks

Fault causes and rectification

The appliance switches itself back on
automatically as soon as the room
temperature falls.
