Adding ingredients
• You can add ingredients into the mixing
bowl|15 while the drive arm|22 is lift-
ed up.
• During mixing, you can add ingredients
through the filling opening|20 in the
splash guard|21:
- Reduce the speed to 1 - 2.
- Open the flap of the filling open-
ing|20.
- Add the ingredients.
- Close the flap of the filling open-
ing|20 again.
Lowering the drive arm
9. Lift the drive arm|22 slightly, hold it
firmly, and turn the unlocking lever|10
to point upwards.
10.Move the drive arm|22 downwards,
and move the unlocking lever|10 back
into the vertical locked position.
The device is now fully assembled. On work-
ing with the device: see “Basic operation”
on page 12.
8. Using the blender jug
NOTE: when you use the blender jug|5, the
axle|23 also turns. The mixing bowl|15 and
splash guard|21 should therefore also be
mounted, but not a mixing tool.
Mounting the blender jug
1. Remove the cover|8 to the right.
2. Position the blender jug|5 on the drive
unit|7 so that the white arrow on the
bottom of the blender jug is above the
safety switch|9.
3. Turn the blender jug|5 clockwise until it
is firmly in place. The two white arrows
now point at each other.
Adding ingredients
• First add the liquid ingredients to the
blender jug|5, and then the solid ones.
• Cut the solid ingredients into small piec-
es in advance, so that the pieces do not
get jammed in the blades.
• During blending, you can add ingredi-
ents through the refill opening|3 in the
lid|2:
- Reduce the speed to 1 - 2.
- Rotate the lid of the refill opening|1
anticlockwise and remove it.
- Add the ingredients.
- Replace the lid|1 such that the small
plastic nibs fit into the recesses at the
refill opening|3.
- Turn the lid|1 clockwise until it is firm-
ly in place.
