NOTE: above all, the ideal speed depends
on the consistency of the material being
blended. The more liquid the contents, the
faster you can blend them.
9.3 Pulse function
NOTE: the pulse function only works if the
speed control|11 is set to at least 1.
By pressing the PULSE|12 button, you
can briefly increase the speed to the
highest setting (10).
Use the pulse function to shred small
quantities of e.g. nuts, herbs or onions
in the blender jug|5.
9.4 Overheating protection
The device has an overheating protection
system. If the motor becomes too hot, the de-
vice automatically switches itself off:
1. Switch off the device.
2. Pull out the mains plug|13.
3. Allow the device to cool down to room
temperature.
When the device has cooled down suffi-
ciently, it can be switched on again.
10. Dismantling the de-
vice
Lifting up the drive arm
1. Turn the unlocking lever|10 to point up-
wards (in the direction of the arrow)
and lift up the drive arm|22 until it
clicks into place and the unlocking le-
ver|10 snaps back into its locked posi-
tion.
Removing the mixing tool
2. Press the mixing tool upwards slightly
and rotate it clockwise until it can be re-
moved from the axle|23.
Removing the splash guard
3. Rotate the splash guard|21 anticlock-
wise until it can be removed.
Removing the mixing bowl
4. Rotate the mixing bowl|15 anticlock-
wise until it can be removed.
Lowering the drive arm
5. Lift the drive arm|22 slightly, hold it
firmly, and turn the unlocking lever|10
to point upwards.
6. Move the drive arm|22 downwards,
and move the unlocking lever|10 back
into the vertical locked position.
Removing the blender jug
7. Rotate the blender jug|5 anticlockwise
slightly, and lift it off upwards.
8. Replace the cover|8.

9. Rotate the lid|2 anticlockwise until you
can remove it.
10.Rotate the lid of the refill opening|1 anti-
clockwise and remove it.
11. Cleaning and servic-
ing the device
DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
~ Disconnect the mains plug|13 from the
wall socket before each cleaning.
~ Never immerse the base unit|19 in wa-
ter.
DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!
~ Please remember that the blades|6 of
the blender jug|5 are very sharp. Never
