Key lock
In order to prevent changing the settings unintentionally by touching the
buttons, you can activate the key lock.
• With the radio switched on, press and hold the button
MEM button until
the indicator on the display flashes. All buttons, except the but-
tons
SNOOZE and MEM, are now blocked.
• Press and hold the
MEM button again until the indicator in the display
disappears.
Screen lighting
• Press any button to illuminate the screen. The screen will remain lit for
about 10 seconds.
• When the key lock is activated, it is not possible to switch on the dis-
play illumination.
Stand
• Fold out the base on the rear of the device to make the device
more stable.
Time functions
When the power provision is established (mains or battery operation) the
time indicated by the world receiver begins at “0:00 00” Proceed with set-
tings the date and time, as explained in the following sections.
The time functions can only be programmed when the radio is switched off.
If the device is disconnected from mains power or the batteries are remo-
ved, the settings are lost.
