  If your Simon Tune Maestro I keyboard or device isn't responding, check the cable connection and ensure you're using the correct port (Out vs In). Also, verify that both the Tune Maestro I and the device are on the same MIDI Channel. Check keyboard/device settings such as SysEx, Global settings, etc. Also, make sure the correct OEM code is used for the keyboard having the issue.

  If your Simon Tune Maestro I doesn't power up when plugged in, check the USB power cable and ensure the power source is operational and producing 5V. Try using another power source as well.

  If maqams are not implementing on the correct key/scale, check if the maqam used, i.e. Bayati, Rast, etc are still in 'Maqam' mode and not under 'Preset' mode.
