Issues and Troubleshooting.
Issue.

Tune Maestro
I
do not power
up when plugged
in.
 Check USB power cable.
 Make sure power source is operational and
producing 5V.
 Try using another source.
Micro tuning used doesn’t sound accurate.
Check the Main Quarter Tone of the device under
Main Menu, and by clicking MQT (C#).
Refer to page 6.
Maqam
s
are not implementing on the correct
key/scale.
Check if the maqam used, i.e. Bayati, Rast, etc are
still in “Maqam” mode and not under “Preset”
mode.
Keyboard or device is not responding to Tune
Maestro I
Or Tune Maestro I not implementing the quarter
tone.
 Check cable connection.
 Make sure the correct port is used, Out vs In,
and the correct port is routed to the correct
keyboard/device.
 Check both Tune Maestro I and device are both
on the same MIDI Channel, refer to page 7.
 Check keyboard/device settings such as SysEx,
Global settings, etc. Refer to the device
manuals for these settings.
 Check to make sure the correct OEM code is
used for the keyboard having the issue. Refer to
page 9.

Expression Pedal not functioning correctly.
 Make sure Expression Pedal is calibrated prior to
using it on the Tune Maestro I
