Issues and Troubleshooting.
Issue.
Possible Solution.
Tune Maestro
I
do not power
up when plugged
in.
Check USB power cable.
Make sure power source is operational and
producing 5V.
Try using another source.
Micro tuning used doesn’t sound accurate.
Check the Main Quarter Tone of the device under
Main Menu, and by clicking MQT (C#).
Refer to page 6.
Maqam
s
are not implementing on the correct
key/scale.
Check if the maqam used, i.e. Bayati, Rast, etc are
still in “Maqam” mode and not under “Preset
mode.
Keyboard or device is not responding to Tune
Maestro I
Or Tune Maestro I not implementing the quarter
tone.
Check cable connection.
Make sure the correct port is used, Out vs In,
and the correct port is routed to the correct
keyboard/device.
Check both Tune Maestro I and device are both
on the same MIDI Channel, refer to page 7.
Check keyboard/device settings such as SysEx,
Global settings, etc. Refer to the device
manuals for these settings.
Check to make sure the correct OEM code is
used for the keyboard having the issue. Refer to
page 9.
Tune Maestro

Initialize the Tune Maestro

procedure as referenced on page 11.
Expression Pedal not functioning correctly.
Make sure Expression Pedal is calibrated prior to
using it on the Tune Maestro I
Repeat calibration, refer to page 10.
