    • 512 Console: Baud rates include 37.5, 75, 150, 300. Jumper locations are specified in a table (e.g., 1-7 for 37.5 baud annunciator, 3-7 for 37.5 baud channel).
  • Printer & CRT Baud Rate: Configured via jumpers on the console motherboard. The CRT uses the same baud rate as the printer.
    • 256 Console: Baud rates include 110, 150, 300, 1200, 4800. Jumper locations are specified in a table (e.g., 2-6 for 110 baud, 2-3 for 4800 baud). Earlier 256 versions used 1200 baud, while more recent 512 versions use 4800 baud.
    • 512 Console: Baud rates include 110, 150, 300, 1200, 4800. Jumper locations are specified in a table (e.g., 3-7 for 110 baud, 3-4 for 4800 baud).

CRT Switch Settings (on Logic PC Board):

  • S1-Position 3 (Baud Rate):
    • 1200 BAUD: Switch 1 OFF, 2 OFF, 3 OFF, 4 ON.
    • 4800 BAUD: Switch 1 ON, 2 ON, 3 OFF, 4 OFF.
  • S3 (General Settings):
    • Switch 1 ON, 2 ON, 3 ON, 4 OFF.
  • S4 (Full Duplex): Toggle switch in "UP" position.

  • Centronics 730-3:
    • SW4 (256 Sys. 1200B / 512 Sys. 4800B):
      • 1200B (256 Sys.): Switch 1 OFF, 2 ON, 3 ON, 4 OFF, 5 ON, 6 OFF, 7 OFF, 8 OFF.
      • 4800B (512 Sys.): Switch 1 OFF, 2 ON, 3 ON, 4 OFF, 5 OFF, 6 OFF, 7 ON, 8 ON.
      • Other settings on SW4: DTR and REV. Channel, EVEN/ODD Parity, REV. Channel/INVERTED REV. Channel, NO Parity Check/Parity Check.
    • SW3 (Normal Operation / Self-Test Settings):
      • Normal Operation: Switch 1 OFF, 2 ON, 3 ON, 4 ON.
      • Self-Test Settings: Switch 1 OFF, 2 ON, 3 OFF, 4 OFF.
