new
filter
in
proper
flow
direc¬
tion
in
hoses.
Secure
by
reclamping
with
hose
clamps.
See
warning
above.
CHECK/ADD
GASOLINE
WARNING
Do
not
remove
fuel
filter
when
engine
is
hot,
as
spilled
gasoline
may
ignite.
Do
not
spread
hose
clamps
further
than
necessary.
Insure
clamps
grip
hoses
firmly
over
filter
after
installa¬
tion.
If
the
filter
(see
figure
6)
is
dirty
or
clogged,
service
as
follows.
1.
Using
a
pliers,
open
and
slide
hose
clamps
from
fuel
filter.
2.
Remove
hoses
from
filter.
Clean
the
area
around
the
gas/gauge
cap
then
remove
the
cap.
Fill
the
tank
with
clean,
fresh,
leaded
or
lead-free
regular
grade
gaso¬
line.
Install
and
hand
tighten
the
gas/gauge
cap.
WARNING
Never
add
gasoline
when
engine
is
hot
or
running.

out
at
this
point
on
each
side
and
lift
the
hood.

deck

press
the
latch
up.
The
entire
seat
deck
tilts
