Section C Additional features of your washing machine
Some models of washing machine have additional features which are described
in this section.
Jj
Wash & soak or suds save option
With some Models you can save the soapy water and re-use it for
another wash.
JL
On some washing machines this is called WASH & SOAK and on
other washing machines it is called SUDS SAVE.
IMPORTANT:
You cannot save water in the PERMANENT
PRESS cycle because this programme uses extra
water to cool the wash load. This extra water
could flood your laundry.
How to save your wash water.
(For washing machines fitted with one outlet hose)
1.
Set the options control knob or button to SUDS SAVE or
WASH & SOAK.
2.
Put the plug in your laundry tub.
3.
Put the washing machine drain hose into the laundry tub.
4.
Select your wash programme and pull out the knob to start
the washing machine.
5.
When your washing machine stops at the end of the WASH
cycle, reset the options control knob or button to NORMAL.
The washing machine will now pump the water into your
laundry tub.
IMPORTANT:
If your laundry tub is not big enough, your laundry
may be flooded. A standpipe or overflow drain can
be fitted. Standpipes (Part No. 0336-001-726) are
available from your nearest Service Centre.
6.
When all the water has been pumped into your laundry tub,
put the washing machine hose back into the drain outlet so
that the rinse water can be pumped away. The washing
machine will then complete the washing programme.

IMPORTANT:
If you don't put the hose back in the drain outlet,
the water can overflow from your laundry tub or
go back into your washing machine.
