Clutch Disengaged

Background Information
There have been a very few reports, less than 1%, of excessive drag on Wheel
Pilots with the clutch disengaged which makes the wheel difficult to turn.
However the indications are that the problem could be more widespread but
that customers are “suffering in silence”.
Investigation
An urgent investigation has been initiated to quantify the problem and seek a
solution.
Reporting
All instances of Wheel Pilots experiencing this problem should be reported to
the manufacturing unit, Simrad-Navico, Product Support, by mail, Fax or E-Mail:

quoting the pilot type and serial number.
