The
zipper
foot
is
designed
to
facilitate
the
placement
of
stitching
close
to
a
raised
edge.
The
hinged
feature
of
this
foot
insures
even
feeding
over
pins,
heavy
layers
of
fabric
or
cross
seams.
It
is
attached
to
the
machine
in’
place
of
the
regular
presser
foot,
and
may
be
adjusted
to
either
the
right
or
left
side
of
the
needle.
