Skirt Zipper
Machine baste placket opening of
skirt and press this seam open.
●
Attach zipper foot to machine in
place of presser foot.
●
Position zipper foot to right of
needle.
●
Open zipper.●
Place zipper face down on seam
allowance with edge of teeth at
seam line.
●
Turn the back seam allowance
away from body of skirt.
●
Move foot to the left of needle.●
Close zipper and turn it face up.●
Smooth back the seam allowance
at the edge of the zipper.
●
Top stitch the seam allowance to
the tape close to the folded edge.
