TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS
1. There is no power to
the machine.
2. Water levels are too
low.
1. Confirm that the Skywell is plugged in and
turned on.
2. Confirm that the power outlet has power by
testing another safe device.
3. Confirm the water level located in the upper
right hand corner of the screen.
4. Confirm that the unit is generating water by
checking that the fan located on the left
side of the unit is functioning. If so, allow the
unit additional time to generate water. It
may take up to 24 hours to fill the tank.
5. If the fan is not functioning, confirm that the
unit is set to generate via the Daily Water
Generation Schedule. Also ensure that the
unit has not been placed in Quiet Mode (see
page 8).
Cold water
is not
getting cold
1. Water levels are too
low.
2. Water has not had
sufficient time to cool.
3. Temperature set point
is above desired
temperature.
4. Potential compressor
cooling system
problem.
1. Confirm that the water tank is at least 25%
full by checking the level in the upper right
hand corner of the display. (Note: the
cooling system requires the tank to be at
least 50% full before running the
compressor). If less, allow additional time for
the unit to produce more water.
2. Check that the unit has had at least 90
minutes to cool the water.
3. Check the cold temperature settings. (see
page 8)
4. Check to see if the condenser coils (black
tubing at the back) are radiating heat.
CAUTION: Coils are hot!
Hot water
is not
getting hot
1. Water levels are too
low.
2. Temperature set point
is below desired
temperature.
3. Water has not had
sufficient time to heat.
1.Confirm that the water tank is at least 25%
full by checking the level in the upper right
hand corner of the display. Note: the
heating system requires the tank to be at
least 25% full before running the heater. If
less, allow additional time for the unit to
produce more water.
2.Check the heat temperature settings. (see
page 8)
3.Check that the unit has had up to 20
minutes to heat the water.
