SMA Solar Technology AG 12 Troubleshooting
Installation Manual SB30-50TL-21-IA-en-21 79
3701 Resid.curr.too.high The inverter has detected residual current and interrupts feed-in
operation.
Corrective measures:
• Check strings for earth faults (see Section12.5 "Checking
the PV Array for Earth Faults", page84).
• The installer of the PV array must remedy any earth faults
before the affected string is reconnected.
Check generator
3801 to
3802
DC overcurrent The inverter switches off due to an overcurrent on the DC side.
Corrective measures:
If this event occurs frequently:
• Check the design and the circuitry of the PV array.
Check generator
3901 to
3902
Waiting for DC
start conditions
The input power or voltage of the PV modules is not yet sufficient
for feeding into the electricity grid.
Corrective measures:
• Wait until irradiation is higher.
• If this event recurs at medium irradiation levels, check the
PV plant design and the correct circuitry of the PV array.
Start cond. not met
6001 to
6438
Self diagnosis Internal device fault. The inverter interrupts feed-in operation.
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line (see Section16 "Contact",
page114).
Interference
device
6501 to
6502
Self diagnosis The inverter interrupts feed-in operation due to interior
overheating.
Corrective measures:
• Ensure sufficient ventilation.
• Check heat dissipation (see Section10.2 "Checking Heat
Dissipation", page69).
Overtemperature
6603 to
6604
Self diagnosis The inverter has detected an internal overload and interrupts
feed-in operation.
Corrective measures:
• Contact the SMA Service Line (see Section16 "Contact",
page114).
