3. Pull the upper enclosure lid forwards to remove it.
4. Remove all varistors.
If you have not received an insertion tool for
operating the terminals with your replacement
varistors, contact SMA Solar Technology AG.
5. Use a multimeter to check each varistor for a
conductive connection between terminals 2 and 3.
Electrostatic discharge can damage the inverter
Components on the inside of the inverter may be irreparably damaged due to electrostatic
discharge.
• Earth yourself before touching any components.
