4. Tighten both lid screws with 2 Nm torque.
5. Screw the lower lid tight.
☑ Your inverter is now ready to be sent back to SMA Solar Technology AG.
6. Now mount the upper lid of your inverter onto the replacement device in the same manner.
7. Mount (see section 4”Mounting” (page15)) and connect (see section 5”Electrical
Connection” (page24)) the replacement device.
12.3 Packaging the Inverter
• If the original packaging is available, the inverter should be packed in its original packaging.
• If the original packaging is not available, use a cardboard box suitable for the weight and size
of the inverter.
12.4 Storing the Inverter
Store the inverter in a dry place where ambient temperatures are always between -25 °C and
+60 °C.
12.5 Disposing of the Inverter
Dispose of the inverter at the end of its service life in accordance with the disposal regulations for
electronic waste which apply at the installation location at that time. Alternatively, send it back to
SMA Solar Technology AG with shipping paid by sender, and labeled "ZUR ENTSORGUNG"
("FOR DISPOSAL") (for contact, see section Page 101).
