The SmartGen HGM9510N/HGM9530N is a paralleled genset controller designed for both manual and automatic parallel systems, suitable for gensets with similar or different capacities. It can also be used for single-unit constant power output and mains paralleling. This controller facilitates automatic start/stop, parallel running, data measurement, alarm protection, and remote control, measurement, and communication functions. It features a large LCD display with optional multilingual interfaces (Chinese, English, and others) for user convenience.
Function Description:
The HGM9510N/HGM9530N controller integrates GOV (Governor) and AVR (Automatic Voltage Regulator) control functions, enabling automatic synchronization and load sharing among gensets equipped with the same controller. It precisely monitors all running statuses of gensets and can initiate parallel-off and stop sequences in case of abnormalities, displaying fault statuses on the LCD. The controller includes an SAE J1939 port for communication with various Engine Control Units (ECUs), allowing monitoring of engine data such as water temperature, oil pressure, engine speed, and fuel consumption, as well as control over start, stop, speed increase, and speed decrease.
It supports 3-phase 4-wire, 3-phase 3-wire, single-phase 2-wire, and 2-phase 3-wire systems with voltages of 120/240V and frequencies of 50/60Hz. The controller collects and displays 3-phase voltage and frequency for both the bus and generator, generator 3-phase current, generator power, and generator voltage harmonic parameters. For the bus, it offers loss of phase and reverse phase sequence detection. For the generator, it provides protection against over/under voltage, over/under frequency, high unbalanced voltage, high total harmonic distortion, over current, earth fault, high unbalanced current, low power factor, over power, reverse power, loss of excitation, loss of phase, and reverse phase sequence.
Synchronization parameters include voltage, frequency, and phase angle differences between the bus and generator. Multiple running modes are available in auto state: on-load running, off-load running, and demand parallel running. It also features ramp-on and ramp-off functions for paralleling and splitting.
The controller supports complex applications through its controller redundancy function (HGM9530N only), MSC redundancy function (HGM9530N only), comprehensive fault protection, and flexible scheduled start/stop functions. It can be widely used in various automatic genset control systems due to its compact structure, advanced circuits, simple connections, and high reliability.
