      If you notice moisture downstream, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure the bypass valve of the air dryer is completely closed. If not, close the valve fully. Second, check if the drain isn't discharging properly from the auto drain; inspect the drainpipe for a fluid trap, check the auto drain function, and inspect the auto drain strainer. Finally, moisture might be coming from a separate air circuit without an air dryer; in this case, install an additional air dryer on that line or separate the two lines to prevent them from converging.

      There are several possible causes for the running lamp to go off and the compressor to stop during normal operation. First, the installation place may be poorly ventilated, causing the ambient temperature to be too high; improve the ventilation around the unit to lower the ambient temperature. Second, the ventilation grilles might be obstructed by a wall or clogged with dust; install the air dryer more than 0.6m away from the wall and clean the ventilation grilles once a month. Third, the temperature of the compressed air may be too high; improve ventilation or install an aftercooler. Finally, the supply voltage may be incorrect; ensure the correct voltage is supplied to the unit.

    How to fix SMC Networks Dehumidifier when it doesn't operate and the run lamp doesn't light up?

      If the air dryer doesn't operate and the run lamp doesn't light up, first check the power cord and plug to ensure they are properly connected to the power source. If that's not the issue, confirm whether the correct capacity circuit breaker is used and reset the circuit breaker to ON. Note that it is not possible to restart the air dryer within 3 minutes after shutdown. Wait for 3 minutes before restarting. If the circuit breaker continues to trip, remove the power supply and contact the factory for further instructions.

    What causes the evaporation thermometer to indicate higher than the green zone on my SMC Networks IDFA3E-23-A Dehumidifier?

      If the evaporation thermometer reads higher than the green zone, it could be due to poor ventilation and high ambient temperature. Improve the ventilation system to lower the ambient temperature. Another possible cause is obstructed ventilation grilles. Ensure the air dryer is installed more than 0.6m away from the wall and clean the ventilation grilles monthly. Finally, the temperature of the compressed air might be too high. To resolve this, improve ventilation around the air compressor or lower the ambient temperature around it to reduce the discharge temperature, or install an additional after-cooler after the air dryer.

      A large pressure drop could be caused by a couple of things. First, check that the IN/OUT valve on the air dryer side is fully opened; if not, open it fully. Second, a separately installed filter in the compressed air line might be clogged; in that case, replace the filter element, following the instruction manual for that specific device.
