Printer Server Setup in Windows 98/Me
You may find that the instructions here do not exactly match your
version of Windows. This is because these steps and screen
shots were created in Windows 98. Windows Millennium Edition
is very similar, but not identical, to Windows 98.
1. Insert the installation CD into your CD-ROM drive. Under the
PrintSvr directory, run the “setup.exe” program. The Port
Monitor installation program advises you to close all other
Windows programs currently running on your computer. Click
Next to continue.
2. The next screen indicates that the print client uses the TCP/IP
network protocol to monitor print requests. Click Next.
