Adding a New Profile
To add a new profile:
1. From the Profile screen, click New. The Site Config dialog box appears, with the Site
Status tab displayed.
2. Complete the fields in the Site Status tab:
Parameter
Description
Profile Name
Enter a meaningful name that will let you identify the profile from any others you have defined or will
create.
SSID
Enter the name of the network to which you will connect using this profile.
Network Type
Select whether the network is an Infrastructure or Ad-Hoc type of network (refer to the Glossary for
definitions of these network types).
3. Click Security Settings and complete the fields in the Security Settings tab:

Authentication Type
Select the type of authentication, if any, required to access the wireless network.
Encryption Type
Select the type of encryption, if any, required to access the wireless network.
Show Password
Check this option if you do not want key characters to be replaced with asterisks.
