Note: If you remove the Adapter from the USB slot, the check marks turns red to show that
the Adapter has been removed.
Modifying a Profile
There may be times when you need to modify a profile’s settings. To modify a profile:
1. On the Profile List screen, click the profile you want to edit and click Edit. The Wireless
Utility dialog box appears, with the System Configuration tab displayed for the selected
profile.
2. Complete the fields in the System Configuration and Authentication & Security tabs.

3. Click OK.
Deleting a Profile
If you no longer need a profile, you can delete it from the Profile List screen. To delete a
profile:
4. On the Profile List screen, click the profile you want to delete.
5. Click Delete. The profile is deleted from the Profile List screen. If the profile is activated, a
message warns you that you will be deleting the activated profile.
Note: A precautionary message does not appear before you delete a profile that is not
activated. Therefore, be sure you no longer need a profile before you delete it.
