5 User interfaces
5.1 Introduction
This chapter aims to give a brief general description of EyePlus software and COMPACT
display, two interfaces through which you can interact with the control board for calibration
and diagnostic purposes.
A deep explanation of all the functions and the capabilities of these tools is beyond the
goal of this manual, so you should refer to the specific manual.
5.2 EyePlus software
5.2.1 Overview
EyePlus is a diagnostic software environment designed to communicate with the forklift
truck.
It can be run from a PC with serial or USB
(1.x or 2.x) port, using an interconnection
cable (SME Code IV049A, see fig. 5).
The connection between PC and SME
Control board is characterized by a 38,4 k
Baud Baud-rate.
User can communicate with the lift truck
during working operations, and can
analyse on line the main electrical
variables values and status
EyePlus software interface is user
friendly and intuitive.
Operator is guided through the process
of parameter setting and has an
effective data analysis instrument.
EyePlus utility helps user to identify
faults and causes of malfunctioning.
