Triple Pitch
Your typewriter hos been designed with the cqpobility of typing in 3 pitches--
Pico (10 characters per inch). Elite
(12 characters per inch) and Micro (15 charac-
ters per inch).
Micro-Select location 15
Elite-Select location 12
Pico-Select location 10
• To type in a particular pitch:
1 . Slide keyboard switch to "off" position.
2. Change printwheel to reflect typestyle and pitch desired
(to change the
printwheel-reod the following sections on "Ribbon Cossette: Removing
and Inserting" and "Printwheel: Removing and Inserting").
3. Slide keyboard switch to "on" position.
4. Move pitch selector to appropriate setting ( 10, 12, or 15). (If changing
pitch
at the beginning of a line or at a tab stop, select pitch first, then car-
rier return to new line or tab) .
Note: Depending upon the "look" you wont, elite ( 12 pitch) printwheels con be
used when the model is set
in 10 pitch. Also, for a unique look, try our Micro ( 15
pitch) printwheel in 10 or 12 pitch settings.
