three
shots
of
general purpose
grease
from
grease
gun.

axle
bearing is lubricated
by the
differentral
lubricant
and requires
n0
grease.

check lubricant, remove
the fill/level
plug
and visually
inspect
for lubricant
on the internal
parts
of the
differential.
lf no lubricant
is visible
on the internal
parts
of the differential,
add transmission
grease
as needed.
IMP0RTANT:
Overfilling
of the
differential with
lubricant
will
cause lubricant
to leak
onto
drive components
of the Rear
Engine
Rider.

fill/level
plug

chain
case
(B)for
damage. lf
signs of wear
or cracks
are visible,
replace
with
a new
plug.
4. To
check lubricant
in the
chain case, remove
the fill/level
plug
and look for
lubricant
on the internal
components
of
the
chain
case. lf no lubricant
is visible.

fill/level
plug

cracks
and wear.
Reptace
the
fill/levet
plug
if
signs
of wear
are visible.
IMP0RTANT:
lf
the Rear
Engine
Rider
wiil
be on its
rear
bumper
for longer
than
two hours,
remove
the
battery.
Refer
to
the
section entitled
"BATTERY
REMOVAL".
