MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
30" & 33" DECK LEVEL ADJUSTMENT Continued
Slide sector off of pins and carefully lower deck onto angle
iron.
Rotate blade(s) until blade tips are at each side of deck.
Measure distance from blade tip to floor on each side of
deck.
Blade tips should be within 1/8" of each otherforthe deck
to be considered level. See Figure 66.

If measurement differs more than 1/8", adjust as follows:
Loosen front lift arm pivot bolt on front of right side rail. See
Figure 67.
NOTE:
The 38" deck does not incorporate a pivot bolt.
Loosen eccentric shoulder bolt. See Figure 67.
Turn eccentric "UP" or "DOWN" as required to level deck.
See Figure 67.
Tighten eccentric shoulder bolt.
Tighten pivot bolt.
Place sector plates back onto rear lift arms and secure
with washers and hairpins.
CAUTION
Make certain sector plates are mounted in the same
holes on each side for proper front to rear level.
FRONT TO REAR LEVEL- SECTOR PLATES
Remove hair pins and washers securing sector plates to
rear lift arms. See Figure 68.
Move sector plate as required to raise or lower deck.
