◦ On the M65 and M85, the next screen (Fig. 4 in step 5) allows you to register the handset for up
to 10 extensions; continue with step 5.
NOTE: The extensions must be on dierent SIP servers, and each extension can
only be registered for and by one handset in the system, whether single-cell or
multicell.
◦ The M25 can only be registered for one extension at a time; skip step 5 and continue with
step 6.
5. M65 and M85 only: Select the first line with the word "Empty" line (Fig. 4) and press
.

6. Enter the access code (Fig. 5) and press . The default code is 0000. The display will
indicate that the handset is registering (Fig. 6). Once registration has been completed, the
account/extension will be shown on the display (Fig. 7). Your handset is now ready to be used.

NOTE: The access code for registering the handset at the base station is set on the
base station. The PIN that is needed to deregister the handset from the base station and
to reset the handset to factory values is set on the handset itself. The default code for
the PIN is also 0000.
