5.2. Grounding Connection (PE)
Connect the inverter to the grounding electrode using ground cable.
SOFAR 60-80KTLX-G3 is a transformerless inverter which requires
the positive pole and negative pole of the PV array are NOT
grounded. Otherwise, it will cause inverter failure. In the PV system,
all non-current-carrying metal parts (such as mounting frame,
combiner box enclosure, etc.) should be connected to earthed.
Preparation: prepare the grounding cable (The CSA of the cable at least
10mm² for copper wire or at least 16mm² for aluminium wire, recommend at
least 16mm² yellow-green outdoor cable)
Procedure:
Step 1: Remove the insulation layer with an appropriate length using a wire stripper
shown as figure 5-2.
