How to fix IpvUnbalance on Sofarsolar SOFAR 10K Inverter?
    • B
      Beth SimonAug 2, 2025
Check the input mode (parallel mode or independent mode) setting of your Sofarsolar Inverter, referring to Section 6 of the user manual to resolve the IpvUnbalance issue.

What to do if GFCIFault occurs in Sofarsolar SOFAR 10K Inverter?
    • M
      Mrs. Holly ShortAug 6, 2025
If the GFCIFault occurs occasionally with your Sofarsolar Inverter, it might be due to occasional abnormalities in the external circuits. The inverter should automatically return to normal operation once the issue is resolved. However, if the fault occurs frequently and persists, inspect the insulation resistance between the PV array and the ground. Also, check the insulation of the PV cables.

Why does my Sofarsolar Inverter show GridOVP?
    • C
      cblackAug 11, 2025
If the GridOVP alarm occurs occasionally on your Sofarsolar Inverter, it might be due to temporary electric grid issues. The inverter should automatically return to normal once the grid stabilizes. If the alarm is frequent, verify that the grid voltage and frequency are within the acceptable range. If they aren't, contact SOFAR technical support. If they are, inspect the AC circuit breaker and AC wiring of the inverter. If the grid voltage/frequency is within the acceptable range and AC wiring is correct, while the alarm continues, contact SOFAR technical support to adjust the grid protection settings after approval from your local grid operator.

    Debra PattersonAug 15, 2025
What to do if Sofarsolar SOFAR 10K shows HwAcOCP?
    • R
      Richard WeaverAug 15, 2025
If your Sofarsolar Inverter displays HwAcOCP, turn off the DC switch, wait 5 minutes, and then turn it back on to see if the fault clears. If the problem persists, contact SOFAR technical support, since ID15-ID24 indicate internal faults.

    mitchellharrisAug 19, 2025
Why does my Sofarsolar SOFAR 10K show PVUVP?
    • J
      Julie HernandezAug 19, 2025
If your Sofarsolar Inverter shows a PVUVP error, it might be because there are too few PV modules connected in series in a PV string. This results in the voltage (Vmp) of the PV string being lower than the minimum operating voltage required by the inverter. To fix this, adjust the number of PV modules connected in series to increase the voltage of the PV string so that it fits within the input voltage range of the inverter. After making these adjustments, the inverter should automatically return to normal operation.

    Kimberly MartinezAug 25, 2025
Why does my Sofarsolar Inverter show PvOVP?
    • D
      Derek RogersAug 25, 2025
If your Sofarsolar Inverter displays a PvOVP error, it means that too many PV modules are connected in series in a PV string. This makes the voltage (Voc) of the PV string higher than the maximum input voltage of the inverter. To resolve this, adjust the number of PV modules connected in series to reduce the voltage of the PV string so that it fits within the input voltage range of the inverter. The inverter should then automatically return to normal operation.

    Justin PowellAug 28, 2025
What to do if Sofarsolar SOFAR 10K shows Vlvrtlow?
    • R
      Ryan ThompsonAug 28, 2025
Check the AC wiring connection to the electric grid. If the wiring is correct and the Vlvrtlow error persists on your Sofarsolar Inverter, contact SOFAR technical support for assistance.
