How to fix communication issues with my SolarEdge Controller?

  If your SolarEdge Controller's LCD inverter displays an asterisk (*) next to the Device type, or SetApp inverters show a 'Not connected' error, or the number of detected devices doesn't match the number of communicating devices, and the blue LED is OFF, it indicates the device isn't associated with the inverter. Try turning the device OFF and then ON, and recheck communication. If that doesn't work, turn the device OFF, remove it from the Device Manager screen, and repeat the discovery process. Note that reconfiguration may be required. If the problem persists, contact SolarEdge support.

  If your SolarEdge Controller isn't functioning, follow these steps: 1. Turn the inverter ON/OFF/P switch to OFF and wait 5 minutes. 2. Disconnect the AC power by turning OFF the main circuit breakers on the distribution panel. 3. Open the device cover. 4. Check that all wires are correctly and firmly connected. 5. Return the cover and fasten the screws.

  If your SolarEdge Controller displays the 'Device limit reached' error, it means you're trying to connect more than 10 devices to the load management network. To resolve this, remove an unused device from the device list before adding a new one.

Ensure the configured schedules are set to deliver power and that the load is properly connected. As a troubleshooting step, try turning the device OFF and then ON, and recheck communication.
