Standby/Sleep Mode
Yourwhole-homeDVR/Set-topboxwillgointoStandbyorSleepModeinthe
following instances:
• TheMenuorGuidescreenisleftupforanextendedperiodoftime
• AVODprogramorDVRrecordinghasreachedtheendandiswaitingonaresponse
• YourDVR/Set-topboxisturnedowhenyoupressthePowerbuttononyour
remotecontroltoturnoyourTV
• Ifyoureachyournetworkcapacityyouwillbegiventheoptiontodiscontinue
oneofthefunctions,ifyouchoosetocontinueonthecurrentbox,theothers
willgointoStandby/SleepMode.Ifnoactionistaken,thecurrentboxwillgo
into Standby/Sleep Mode.
• TobringyourDVR/Set-topboxoutofStandby/SleepModepressOKtobegin
watching TV.
The Standby/Sleep Mode is identified by a blue screen with a message which
states “Press OK to watch TV”.
Note:IfyourDVR/Set-topboxisinStandby/SleepMode,thisdoesnotmeanthe
boxispoweredo.WhentheunitisinStandby/SleepMode,itisstillpullingadata/
video stream and is using bandwidth. In order to free up a stream you will want to
powerotheboxbypressingthePowerbutton.Whenthegreenlightturnso,
thisindicatestheunitisturnedo.
Eachset-topboxwheninuseorpoweredoncountsasaprogrambeingwatched.If
you see a message that displays “Too many devices in use” on your TV screen, ensure
thattheset-topboxesnotinusearepoweredobypressingthePowerbutton.
