8.6 CLEANING AND CARE
This paragraph describes cleaning procedures, explains the recommended
cleaning agents and give caution notes.
8.6.1 PAINTED SURFACES
Use efficient cleaning products to clean the aircraft surface. Oil spots on the
aircraft surface may be cleaned with petrol / gasoline. Take care not to spill
cleaning agent on the canopy!
8.6.2 CANOPY
The canopy may only be cleaned by window cleaning agent adapted to perspex.
Use either a soft, clean cloth sponge or deerskin.
8.6.3 INTERIOR SURFACES
Upholstery and covers may be removed from the cockpit, brushed and washed
in lukewarm water with a small quantity of detergents. Dry the upholstery
thoroughly before insertion into the cockpit.
CAUTION
Never clean the canopy under dry conditions,
Never use petrol or chemical solvents.
