Operating the GTN for primary navigation for latitudes above 89.00° N and below
89.00° S is prohibited.
• Use of Gloves in flight
No device may be used to cover fingers used to operate the G500 and GTN unless
the Glove Qualification Procedure located in the Pilot’s Guide/Cockpit Reference
Guide has been successfully completed. The Glove Qualification Procedure is
specific to a pilot / glove / avionic combinations.
NOTE
This procedure does not modify the system to improve
compatibility with a certain glove type. It does only permit
to validate if a certain glove type is compatible with all
functionalities and operating conditions.
