Press the number button of the track
on the remote. When you directly
locate a track numbered over 10,
press >10 first, then the
corresponding number buttons•
Examples:
• To select track number 30 on a CD
recorded with 50 tracks, press >10,
then 3 and 10/0.
• To select track number 30 on a CD
recorded with 200 tracks, press
>10, then 10/0, 3 and 10/0.
Go to a point in a Press _ (backward)/1_1_
track while monitoring (forward) on the remote and hold
the sound _" down until you find the point.
Go to a point in a track Press _ (backward)/
by observing (forward) on the remote and hold
the display _" down until you find the point
during pause. You will not hear the
sound during the operation.
Go to the next track Turn the _ AMS _ dial
(MP3 file*) clockwise bv one click•
Go back to the Turn the b_<3 AMS _ dial
preceding track counterclockwise by one click.

Stop playing and Press OPEN/CLOSE.

all the MP3 files in the selected disc• When "ALBUM" is
selected, you can locate all the MP3 files in the selected
ALBUM.

When MP3 files on the disc" are played back, "MP3"
appears in the display.
"_f When you turn off the player
The player remembers the last playing disc and the play
mode: Continuous (on page 12), Shuffle (on page 17), or
Program (on page 19)• When you turn on the player
again, the player plays the same disc in the same play
mode.
Using the Display
You can check stored disc information, such as the Disc
Names (see page 23) or Artist Names (see page 27), by
using the display.
Unlike a normal CD, a CD TEXT disc includes
information such as the disc title or artist name. The
display shows the CD TEXT information so that you
can check the current disc title, artist name, and track
title. When the player detects a CD TEXT disc, "CD
TEXT" appears in the display.

The display shows the current disc number, total
number of tracks, and total playing time of the disc.

Note
If "-_ -_" appears in the large display, the disc has reached the
end while you were pressing 1_1_.Turn the _ AMS D-[_
dial counterclockwise or press _ to go back.
