ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENTS
COMPACT DISC CHANGER
1. Perform adjustments as given.
2. Be sure to use the disc “YEDS-18” parts code : 3-702-101-01, but
only when indicated.
3. Power supply voltage : DC 14.4 V (more than 3A).

1. Connect the oscilloscope to SERVO board test point |RF|, pin @ of 1
IC12.
2. Put the set into play mode by loading the disc. 2
3. Adjust (SERVO board) RVI2 so that the waveform on the
oscilloscope (eye pattem) is good
A good eye pattern means that the diamond shape (© ) in the
center of the oscilloscope can be clearly distinguished.

Connect the oscilloscope to SERVO board test point /TE|, pin @ of

Put the set into play mode by loading the disc.
Press the k¢@ AMS P| button, then, check the traverse waveform.*
Adjust RV11 (SERVO board) so that the oscilloscope reading is
symmetrical in relation to 0 V.
*Traverse waveform : This is the tracking error waveform appears
when crossing the track.
Volt/Div : 0.5V
Time/Div: 2mSec
