CD player
Symptom
Playback starts from the
point you stopped. (resume
function)
Rustling noise of the CD is
heard.
When using with a connected
stereo system, the sound is
distorted or noisy.

The audio is weak or has poor
quality.
Cause and/or corrective actions
c The resume function is working. To start play from the first track,
push the 3-way control key toward N
/
> and hold it for 2
seconds or more, or open the lid of the CD player. Or remove all
power sources, then insert the batteries or connect the AC power
adaptor again. (pages 6, 7, 21, 23)

Close the lid of the battery compartment firmly. (page 21)

Adjust the volume of the CD player and the connected device.

Cause and/or corrective actions
c Charge the rechargeable batteries. (pages 21, 22)
c Replace the batteries with new LR6 (size AA) alkaline batteries.

c Move the CD player away from the TV.
