Using the PROGRAM AE function

Press PROGRAM AE repeatedly to select the desired
PROGRAM AE mode.
AE
A : Aperture Priority mode
AE
S : Shutter Priority mode
Å : Twilight mode
To reactivate the automatic adjustment mode, press PROGRAM
AE repeatedly until the indicator on the LCD screen or in the
viewfinder disappears.
Using the Aperture Priority mode
1 Press PROGRAM AE repeatedly to select
AE
A.
2 Press –/+ under PROGRAM AE repeatedly to select
the desired aperture value.
You can select from the following 12 value: F1.8, F2, F2.4, F2.8,
F3.4, F4, F4.8, F5.6, F6.7, F8, F9.6, F11.
For a smaller aperture, select a higher value.
Using the Shutter Priority mode
1 Press PROGRAM AE repeatedly to select
AE
S.
2 Press –/+ under PROGRAM AE repeatedly to
select the desired shutter speed.
Note that the shutter speed is indicated as, for example, “100” for
1/100 shutter speed.
You can select from the following 13 speeds: 1/60, 1/80, 1/100,
1/125, 1/250, 1/350, 1/500, 1/750, 1/1000, 1/1500, 1/2000,
1/3000, 1/4000.
For a faster shutter speed, select a larger value indicator.
Note
When the shutter speed is faster than 1/1500, the flash will not work.
