(AVLS)
The AVLS (Automatic Volume Limiter
System) function keeps down the
maximum volume to protect your ears.

Press MENU.

Press I44 or )H repeatedly until
“OPTION” flashes in the display, and
then press ENTER again.

Press I++ or )H repeatedly until
“AVLS” flashes in the display, and
then press ENTER again.

Press I44 or )H repeatedly until
“ON” flashes in the display, and then
press ENTER.
When you try to turn the volume too
high, “AVIS” flashes in the display.
The volume is kept to a moderate
level.
Tq cancel AVLS
Select “OFF” in step 4.
lkwning off the beep
sound
You can turn off the beep sound.

“BEEP” flashes in the display and
then press ENTER.

Press I+4 or H repeatedly until
“M-UNIT” or “REMOTE” flashes in
the display, and then press ENTER.
M-UNIT: when turning off the beep
sound on the recorder.
REMOTE: when turning off the beep
sound on the optional remote control.

Press H1 or W repeatedly until
“OFF” flashes in the display, and then
press ENTER.
To turn on the beep sound
Select “ON’ in step 5.
