OPERATION
6-1_ DISK DESCRIPTION
The Micro Floppydisk (OM-D30V) is enclosed in
a rigid plastic shell for extra protection and reduced
disk-to-case friction (see Figure 6-1). A metal center-
ing hub ensures rapid and accurate positioning when
the disk is inserted in the drive. SONY's exclusive
disk guard protects the recording surface from foreign
object contamination. The guard prevents dust,
dirt and fingerprints from degrading the integrity
of the stored data.

from the manufacturer. To prepare the disk for file
protected operation break off file protect tab.
