The disc does not play.
mThere is no disc inside. Insert a disc.
mInsert the disc with the playback
side facing down correctly.
mInsert the disc correctly (pages 30,
38).
mClean the disc.
mDo not insert a disc which the unit
cannot play (page 7).
mCheck the region code of the DVD
VIDEO (page 7).
mMoisture has condensed inside the
unit. Remove the disc and leave the
unit turned on for about one hour.
Then turn the power off and then on
again, and start playback (page 75).
mCheck that this unit is placed in a
horizontal position.
mThe Parental Control function is set
(page 64).
The unit does not play from the
beginning when playing a disc.
mResume Play is set. Press RESUME
on the remote during stop playback.
After “RESUME” disappears in the
front panel display, start playback
(page 53).
mA title menu, a DVD menu, or a PBC
menu automatically appears on the
TV screen (pages 33, 34, 41).
