OPERATION WITH THE REMOTE COMMANDER
Once the POWER button and ON button have been pressed, you
can remotely control the recorder with this commander up to 10
meters away from the recorder and within the range illustrated
below.

@ Keep the commander away from extremely hot or humid places.
@ Avoid dropping any foreign objects into the commander cabinet,
particularly when replacing batteries.

malfunction,
do
not
simultaneously
depress
two
or
more
buttons.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
The Sony Remote Commander RMT-200 (supplied) operates on four
AA batteries (supplied).
To install batteries into the Commander, proceed as follows:
@ Press and slide to open the battery compartment lid.
@ Install the four size AA batteries supplied (IEC Battery Desig-
nation R6) in the battery compartment. Be sure to observe cq yt
polarity. “
© Close the lid.
@ In normal operation, battery life is about a year. When the
battery is exhausted, the remote commander will not operate the
recorder properly. When this happens, replace the batteries with
new ones.
@ When the commander is not used for along period of time, remove
the batteries to avoid damage from possible battery leakage.
