* On during continuous printing
Off* On RMV PAPER A paper jam occurred
inside the printer.
tClear the jammed
paper.
The base plate is not
attached.
tAttach the base plate
(page 28).
Off* On RMV PRINTS The output tray is full
of printouts.
tRemove the
printouts blocking
the output tray.
Printing resumes.
Off* On CHANGE RBN The ink ribbon has been
used up.
tLoad a new ink
ribbon (ribbons
cannot be reused).
If a blank sheet of paper
is ejected, do not reuse
it (page 14).

tRepair the ribbon
with cellophane
tape, etc. (page 13).
If this message appears
even though the ink
ribbon is not torn,
consult your Sony
dealer.

the error message
persists, consult
your Sony dealer.
Off On SAVE ERR An error occurred while
saving settings to the
printer.
tTurn off the printer,
and try saving the
settings again after
turning on the
printer. If the error
message persists,
consult your Sony
dealer.
Off Flashing WAIT Paper from inside the
printer is being ejected.
tWait a moment for
the process to finish.
Off On WAIT Internal printer
processing is in
progress.
tWait a moment for

Off On SWITCH LVR The position of the
media switch lever does
not match the type of
ink ribbon being used.
Set the bar to the proper
position (page 12).
