Description of Operation and Features
Southwire
®
Extreme Duty Tension Monitor - 10K is designed to
monitor cable-pulling tension during the cable installation process
and provides continuous digital display readout of cable pulling
tension, max tension alarm, distance pulled, elapsed time, and also
data-log to a USB flash drive for review later. Each unit is made
with an anodized aluminum frame for durability.

CAUTION
• Do not use if any parts are damaged as this can cause an unsafe
condition and lead to tool malfunction or failure.
• If tool is in disrepair, DO NOT USE. Have tool serviced at an

• Do not pull anything other than the pulling rope through the force
gauge. Metallic objects such as pulling grips and clevises will
damage the rollers.
• Do not pull wire rope through the pulleys except when using
hardened steel pulleys available through Southwire
®
