 USB flash drive (FAT32)
o With saved library configuration and/or MLM/DLM database – if available
o For collecting Auto-support Log File (ASL)

 Verify with customer that data I/O to all drives has halted

Considerations
 It is recommended that all tapes are removed from drives by customer before
procedure to avoid potential stuck tapes after power-up
 Verify customer has a current backup* of the following (if applicable):
o Library configuration
o MLM and DLM databases
o Encryption keys
* Due to high probability for corruption, it is not recommended to attempt backup of
library configuration, MLM/DLM database or encryption keys if LCM is malfunctioning
 Refer to “Spectra T50e Library Control Module Replacement Instructions”
service guide for information that should be documented/backed-up by
customer prior to service
